Staff Only Training delivers high-quality, bespoke training designed to meet the needs of a wide range of learners — from rail professionals to ASPRO third-party contractors, schools and colleges, emergency services, and corporate teams.
Our tailor-made programmes cover rail engineering, track safety, lineside awareness, and specialist appreciation courses for those working near the railway. We also provide inclusive training pathways for neurodivergent learners, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to build skills and confidence in a supportive environment.
Whether you’re preparing staff for rail projects, introducing students to engineering, equipping emergency responders with essential railway knowledge, or delivering an engaging corporate experience, our experienced trainers create sessions that are practical, relevant, and engaging.
At Staff Only Training, we’re committed to empowering people, raising industry standards, and making specialist learning accessible to all.

Staff Only Services
Staff Only Services provides a supportive, real-world working environment where individuals can develop valuable workplace skills while earning a wage. Our programme is open to young people aged 16–25, including those who are NEET, neurodivergent, or looking to enhance their employment skills.
We provide hands-on experience across a range of practical activities, from equipment maintenance to the build and assembly of Overhead Line (OHL) components, including droppers, cantilevers, and bonds. Beyond technical skills, participants gain exposure to real-world commercial operations through the production of branded PPE and drafting services for external companies..
Supported by experienced mentors, every individual has the opportunity to grow confidence, build employability, and develop the practical skills needed to progress into long-term work.
At Staff Only Services, we’re creating meaningful opportunities today — while developing the skilled, inclusive workforce of tomorrow.

Staff Only STEM and Youth Integration
Staff Only STEM and Youth Integration brings rail engineering and safety education to young people of all ages, helping them stay safe near the railway while sparking interest in STEM and future careers. We work with primary schools, special needs schools, colleges, UTCs, and partner with charities such as The King’s Trust to deliver inclusive, engaging sessions tailored to each group’s needs.
In conjunction with Tier 1 suppliers, Train Operating Companies (TOCs), and SMEs across the rail industry. This collaboration strengthens our ability to connect young people with real engineering insights and future opportunities.
Our workshops combine hands-on activities, interactive demonstrations, and real-world rail scenarios to teach how the railway works, why safety matters, and what career pathways exist across the industry. Every session is designed to be accessible, enjoyable, and impactful — ensuring all children and young adults can learn, explore, and build confidence.
At Staff Only STEM and Youth Integration, we’re committed to empowering young people, supporting diverse learners, and keeping communities safe around the railway as we help shape the next generation of rail talent.
